Dear Confrere,

 

            If you missed our January Induction Dinner at Longboat Key Club, you picked the wrong one to skip. The food and wine were absolutely “Top Notch” and drew rave reviews from even our most critical members.

 

            Bailli Delegue, des Etats-Unis, Joe Teague Caruso was our guest and inducting officer. As a special historic moment, after the induction ceremony, Joe awarded the first ever Chaîne President’s medal to our own member, Grand Commandeur / Bailli Honoraire Stanley Demos and our special guest Grand Commandeur / Echanson National Shelly Margolis. Our next event will be held on March 12, 2006 at the Sarasota Yacht Club. I am enclosing an invitation and menu. Our member, General Manager Ken Johnson, who formerly served as Conseiller Culinaire in Tallahassee has worked with us in orchestrating a memorable dinner. His all new culinary staff are all experienced in presenting Chaîne dinners in many cities and ready to treat you palate to a memorable meal. Once again, we’ll choose the perfect wines for this great event.
